O2 Ministries: A Brief History
O2 Ministries was founded in 2005 when the Lord convicted Heath Cooper to become a helper for the churches in need. During the 10 years of Heath's church ministry, he wanted the local churches to come together for a common goal to promote the Gospel of Jesus Christ. O2 Ministries' first event was a kickball tournament for area churches. The participating churches came together in a positive Christian atmosphere to fellowship and hear the Gospel. O2 Ministries, with the help of local churches brought Christian Illusionist Harris III to Tuscaloosa, Al. Harris presented the Gospel through the art of illusions. O2 Ministries has also participated in the American Cancer Society's Relay for Life and has helped churches with youth pastor interims and support. The goal is to continue to work with the churches to bring the Gospel to the community in different and unique ways so that the lost can come to the Savior.
Who We Are
O2 Ministries is a nonprofit organization that assists the local body of Christ. We are a group of Bible believers who like to see fellow Christians unite together to uplift the name of Jesus. We want to be your Church ministry resource.
Our desire is to bring local churches together for a common goal that they could not otherwise accomplish due to financial support, member participation, or material resources. O2 Ministries will be the facilitator to give participating churches equal ownership in each event.
